Broomy Hill has two separate tracks that you can ride on. One is the elevated track that accommodates the smaller locomotives. The other, longer track, sees the larger engines and runs from Broomy Hill Station.
We give train rides to the public, usually on the second and last Sundays of the month, Spring, Summer and Autumn.
The first train is at noon and the last train is 4.30pm. Regular trains throughout the day.
PLEASE NOTE :
As many of our members are not in the first flush of youth, the committee has decided to suspend all public running days until the Covid-19 crisis recedes and the Government changes its guidelines.
Regretfully, therefore, the programme of public running days previously advertised are postponed and are currently under review.
